Scheme on establishment of college for deaf
Under the Government of India, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Department of Empowerment for Persons with Disabilities, a Central sector scheme of establishment of college for deaf in each of the five regions of the country has been earmarked during the XII Plan period. Details of the scheme are available at www.disabilityaffairs.gov.in. Interested NGOs affiliated to the UGC approved Universities may apply as per the guideline through proper channel at the earliest.
Regional Transport office notifies
Regional Transport Officer, Kohima has notified all the concerned who have not collected the smart card for the vehicle registration certificate and driving license from the office of the Regional Transport Officer, Kohima have been asked to collect the same on office working days.
NPF president convenes CEC meeting
President of the Naga People’s Front, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, has convened the Central Executive Council (CEC) meeting on June 14 at 11 a.m. in the Central HQ Kohima. All the concerned CEC members have been directed to attend the meeting positively.
ASU handing-taking over programme
