Slogan writing contest for young electors
The office of the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Kohima will be organising a slogan/quotation writing competition for young electors (18 to 21 years) of Kohima district on theme “Clean Election”. The three best entries will be awarded cash prize along with citations during the National Voters’ Day celebration on January 25. Interested participants may send their quote/slogan through SMS or whatsapp to 9402041751 from June 14 to 23, along with their name, age, gender and address.
Committee on Public Undertakings meeting
Tokheho Yepthomi, Chairman of the Committee on Public Undertakings, Nagaland Legislative Assembly has convened the first meeting of the newly constituted Committee for the year 2017-2018 on June 7, at 11 a.m. in the Assembly Committee Room to take stock of unfinished business of the committee and also to chalk out the work programme for the year. All the members of the committee have been requested to attend the proposed meeting.
First BAN Christian fellowship prog
Business Association of Nagas (BAN) has invited all the members and families to attend the first official BAN Christian Fellowship (BANCF) on May 30 at Covenant Church, NMM Building, Duncan. The Fellowship has been schedule at 3 p.m., with director of NMM, Rev. Andrew Semp as speaker. The service will be led by Dr.Lulen Jamir convenor of BANCF.
Immunisation and awareness prog
The State Health Mission Nagaland will be organizing a two-day partnership workshop with Churches to improve demand for immunization and create awareness on maternal and child health at Hotel Vivor, Kohima. The inaugural session will be held on May 30, at 11 a.m., with Minister of Health, P. Longon as chief guest.

ENNWU to hold general session
Eastern Naga National Workers’ Union (ENNWU) will be holding its general session on June 8, 10 a.m. at Council Headquarters, Hebron. All CAOs with region secretary and two senior leacys, tatar and above, section officers, lieutenant and above have been requested to attend the session positively. Members were also asked to submit the agendas promptly to the office bearers prior to the meeting.
