Governor’s award for HSLC & HSSLC toppers prog
The function for presentation of the Governor’s Award to the toppers and felicitation of rank holders of HSLC and HSSLC examinations 2017 by the Governor of Nagaland, P.B. Acharya will be held on May 26, 11 a.m. at Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, Kohima. The Top twenty ranked students of HSLC examination 2017 and top ten ranked students of the 3 streams of HSSLC Examination 2017 and the respective heads of institutions from where they passed, along with one parent of the student have been invited to attend the function. Further, all the rank holders have been informed to attend the function in their respective school uniforms. Invitees are asked to reach the venue by 10:30 a.m. and be seated by 10:45 a.m.
SDO (C) Kohima Sadar informs GBs
Sub Divisional Officer (C), Kohima Sadar, Kethosituo Sekhose has informed all the concerned Gaon Buras (GBs) under Kezocha Administrative Circle and Kohima Sadar Administrative Circle (KMC areas and Kohima, Chedema and Chedema Model village) who have submitted the annual house tax for the year 2017 to personally collect their commission from the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima during office hours.

District Welfare officer, Dimapur has notified that payments for old age, widow, disabled, blind under NSAP and State, department of Social Welfare for 9 months would be made in the Council Halls on the mentioned dates. Kuhoxu - May 15, Nikikh-May 16, S.Hotovi-May 18, Medziphema-23 May, Kiyeto- May 25, Darogapathar-May 27, Diphupar-May 29, Kevijau-May 30, Lengrijan-May 31 and Kuda Nagarjan-June 1. Beneficiaries have been asked to collect their pensions from the nearest place of payment along with xerox copy of Aadhaar card and Bank Account front page.
NNC to observe 66th anniversary
Naga National Council (NNC) will be observing its 66th Anniversary of Naga Voluntary plebiscite on May 16, 10 a.m. at Peace Hall, Chedema. NCC has invited all to grace the occasion. All regions, regional councils have been asked to observe the day in their respective regions.

DCC Dimapur meeting with AICC secretary in-charge
District Congress Committee (DCC) Dimapur will be holding a meeting with AICC Secretary in-charge Nagaland, on May 15, 10 a.m. at Congress Bhavan Dimapur.
