ANHTU Kohima condoles
ANHTU Kohima Unit: Kohima unit of the All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU) has condoled the demise of Virevo Tsükrü, its active executive member and Hindi teacher at GPS K Khel Viswema, Kohima, who passed away on May 7. The Unit, in a press release issued by its information secretary, Nelson Yhokha, has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the eternal rest of the departed soul.
NWHD notifies office bearers
Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) has notified its present set of office bearers headed Mrs Arenla Aier Ao as president, Mrs Lily Seb Rengma and Mrs Neilo Wetsah Chakhesang as vice presidents, Mrs Vimenuo Legisie Angami as general secretary, Mrs Margaret Mozhui Lotha as treasurer, Mrs Maria Thur Pochury as finance secretary, Mrs Thethem Hangsingh Kuki as information and publicity secretary, and Mrs Holi Chophy Sema and Mrs Rokovino Newmai Zeliang as joint secretaries. The Board of Advisors are Mrs Hukheli T Wotsa, Mrs Khrielenuo Terhuja, Mrs Toshila Pongen and Mrs Apeny Ezung.
BAN to conduct training on GST
Following assurance from the Department of Taxes, Business Association of Nagas (BAN) has announced to conduct special training on (Goods and Service Tax (GST) for all Naga entrepreneurs both registered and non-registered members on May 9 from 2 p.m. onwards at Taxes Training Centre, Commissioner of Taxes, near DC office, Dimapur. BAN Media Cell has requested all Naga entrepreneurs not to miss the opportunity but be equipped with the new GST regime slated to be implement from the month of July 2017.
MEC to conduct training
Mokokchung Entrepreneurs Consortium (MEC) and YouthNet have announced to conduct a 10-day ‘Retail Customer Interaction Training’ in partnership with Quest Alliance, Bangalore from May 16. Intake capacity for the training is limited to thirty seats only. The trainees will be imparted comprehensive training on the subject and will be awarded with certificates on successful completion of the training. Retail business owners, salesperson and interested individuals can collect their registration forms at MEC office, Longpok Mansion, Mokokchung. Registrations for the training will be done on first come first serve basis, it informed.
