NPF to hold CEC meeting

In exercise of the powers conferred vide Article V Clause 10 read with Article IV Clause 3 sub-clause c (I) of the constitution, president of Naga People’s Front (NPF), Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu, has convened the tradition Central Executive Council (CEC) meeting on November 21 at 3 pm in its central office, Kohima. He has requested all the concerned members to attend the meeting.

DNYO recovers bike

Diphupar Naga Youth Organisation (DNYO) recovered a bike (Pulsar 220) black colour bearing Chassis No. MD2A13EZ0CA19922 and Engine No.DKZCEA14730. The organisation president, Kikheto Sumi has asked the rightful owner to claim the bike within 10 days by producing original documents from its office.  

Power disruption in Zunheboto, Kohima districts

Power supply to Zunheboto district would be disrupted intermittently due to jungle cutting along 66KV Mokokchung–Zunheboto transmission line beginning from November 4 to the 9th. SDO (Trans), Mokokchung Transmission Division, has requested all consumers to bear with the inconveniences. There would also be a total shutdown of power supply in Kohima district on November 2 from 6 am to 2 pm as the department would be taking up stringing of 33 kV Kohima Ringmains near 33/11 kV Lerie sub-station. All consumers in Chakhabama area, Lerie colony and Southern Angami area are requested to extend co-operation and bear with the inconveniences.  

Training on food processing in Mon

Can Youth, in collaboration with the Mon district administration, will be conducting a training on food processing for women belonging to ST/ SC from November 11 at Mon town. The training sponsored by Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). The training programme is aimed at promoting entrepreneurship skills and livelihood opportunities for the young girls and women of the district. Project coordinator, Faihamti Longmailai, has requested all interested women can submit their name for registration.  

DMC convenes meeting with traders

Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has convened a meeting with all the wholesaler/ dealers of essential commodities, potato and onion dealers on November 4 in the office chamber of DMC administrator to discuss on some important issues. DMC administrator, Albert Ezung has requested all the concerned members to attend the meeting.  

SAPO to celebrate platinum jubilee

Southern Angami Public Organisation (SAPO) will be commemorating its 75th anniversary on December 28 at Jakhama. In this regard, the organisation has appealed to all the its subordinate executive bodies to avoid coinciding with  any other programme during the celebration and cooperate in order to make the celebration a success. SAPO secretary, Mhalie Lucho also requested all its frontal organisation presidents and colleagues, village council chairmen and members of different committee of the jubilee to make it convenient to attend the meeting on November 8.  

NSACS informs on multimedia campaign

Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) informed that the entry date for district level audition of the 9th multimedia campaign has been extended to November 7. NSACS project director, Dr. Ngangshimeren has asked the interested bands of any rock genre may submit their entries.
