DoSE informs in-service teachers
Department of school education has informed all in-service primary teachers willing to undergo D.El.ED course under SCERT to submit application on or before June 25 to its office. Informing this in a press release, the department director, Wonthungo Tsopoe, stated that the application should be routed through the concerned SDEO enclosed with relevant documents and NOC from the concerned VEC/ head teacher. It further informed that preference of DIET centre would be mentioned/ indicated in their individual application.
DoFCS informs fair price shops
Assistant director of food and civil supplies, Kohima, has informed all the concerned fair price shops/ village councils of Kohima centre that PHH and AAY food-grains/sugar would be released from June 19 onwards between 10:30 am to 4 pm. In this regards, all the concerned FPS/village councils are directed to collect their respective quota within the stipulated period. Inspector of food and civil supplies, Sashilemla Pongen, informed that food grains for Kezocha circle villages and Merema, Tsiese Basa and Bawe, Thizama and Rusoma would be release on June 19. The distribution for Jakha circle villages would be held on June 20, for Kohima sadar and Sechü circle villages on June 21, and for Kohima town FPS on June 22 and 25.
NSEAOA convenes conference
President of NSEAOA has convened its 13th general conference on June 21 at the Capital Convention Centre, Kohima, at 10 am with the advisor of school education, KT Sukhalu as the speaker. The organisation president, Y Khetoshe Yepthomi, has informed all officers and members of NSEAOA from JEO/AHM and above to report at the venue before 9:30 am.
CEO convenes meeting
State chief electoral officer, Abhijit Sinha, has convened a state level political party meeting on June 18 at Hotel Japfu, Kohima. The meeting has been convened in connection with special summary revision of photo electoral rolls with reference to 01.01.2019 as the qualifying date. The chief electoral officer has requested all the political parties to depute at least two representatives to the meeting.
NSF to honour toppers
Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has announced to organise a felicitation programme for bonafide ‘Naga NBSE HLSC toppers’ on June 21 at Hotel Japfu, Kohima. According to the updates, the programme would begin at 11 am. It informed that PWD minister, Tongpang Ozukum, would attend the occasion as the guest speaker. NPF unit conveys Eid greetings
Naga People’s Front (NPF) minority wing has greeted the Muslim community of Nagaland on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr 2018. The wing president, Bishnu Bhattacharjee, expressed hope that the joyous occasion would herald sustained peace, progress, prosperity and happiness and would further strengthen the bonds of communal harmony and brotherhood relationship amongst all.
Idgah Committee has informed that Id-ul-filtr namaj would be held at Idgah prayer ground, Golaghat Road, Dimapur, at 7:45 am. The Id-ul-filtr would be led by Maulana Haji Fuzail Ahmed Sb. Pesh Imam Iddgah Jame Masjid, Dimapur. The committee has requested all to cooperate during Idd Namaj.
ANDMSA Kohima unit has informed that a general meeting for election of office bearers for the next session would be held on June 26 at 10:30 am at LCS building, Midland, Kohima. All concerned offices were requested to send two members positively.
Deputy commissioner and district election officer, Dimapur, payment for hire charges of vehicles under Dimapur district in connection with the conduct of Nagaland legislative assembly election 2018 and by-election to Nagaland parliamentary constituency 2018 would be made till June 21. He has requested all concerned to collect the hire charges during office hours from the office of the deputy commissioner, Dimapur.
Father’s fellowship of Chakhesang Christian Revival Church (CCRC), Kohima, has announced to celebrate its silver jubilee-cum-father’s day on June 17 on the theme “Proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” It informed that Rev. Vevozo Khamo, executive secretary council of Chakhesang Christian Churches, would be the minister and Rev. Dr. Visielie Angami, principal of Faith Theological Seminary, Kohima, as the main speaker.
Nagaland Kho_Kho Association (NKKA) mourned the untimely demise of its press secretary Xavier Rutsa on June 11. In a condolence message, the association has described him as a true gentleman with vast experiences and a sports enthusiast. It lamented the state has lost an eminent journalist. NKKA offered prayers to God to comfort and bless the bereaved family members.
