Jakhama students to hold freshers day programme
Jakhama Students’ Union (JSU) has invited all the successful HSLC and HSSLC students and all its members to its annual freshers day programme scheduled on June 9 at SAPO hall, Jakhama town at 10:30 am. The union general secretary, Rukukhonu Rolnu, and the information secretary, Zevito Natso, informed that Kevingoto Kulnu, EAC Tseminyu, would grace the programme as speaker.
Vivekananda foundation to honour toppers
Vivekananda Welfare Foundation, Dimapur, has announced to organise a felicitation programme for HSLC and HSSLC toppers on June 10 at 3:30 pm at SD Jain Girls’ College auditorium, Dimapur. All the 20 toppers in HSLC and 10 toppers in HSSLC (all three streams) under the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) are invited to attend the felicitation programme. The organisation president, Niranjan Saha has requested all rank holders to confirm their presence at SD Jain Girls’ College auditorium 30 minutes before the programme.

Wokha’s DPDB meeting deferred
Deputy commissioner and vice chairman of Wokha District Planing and Development Board (DPDB), Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon, has informed that the monthly DPDB meeting has been deferred to June 11 at 11 am due to unavoidable circumstances. He has further informed all members to attend the meeting positively.
Peren district felicitates toppers
Peren District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) has felicitated HSLC and HSSLC toppers from the district during its monthly meeting held on June 6 in the DC’s conference hall, New DC Complex. During the meeting, the deputy commissioner, Smita Sarangi, invited various departments to present their respective activities. While reviewing the last meeting minutes, the house has discussed on electrification of Peren college, ITI, Labour, Polytechnic and ISBT. DFO Peren, Dr. Sentitula, has highlighted about plantation drive in the district.
