Zunheboto SSA teachers to hold meeting
Zunheboto unit of the Nagaland SSA Teachers’ Association (NSSATA) has convened a meeting an emergency meeting on June 2 at 10 am at SKK conference hall, Zunheboto. The unit president, Kanato Chophi, has requested all the SSA teachers of 2010/13 batch under Zunheboto SDEO and Aghunato SDEO to attend the meeting positively.
Municipal affairs inform BSUP beneficiaries
Directorate of Municipal Affairs has informed all beneficiaries of BSUP flats at K Badze, Kohima, who have made payment in advance to occupy the allotted flats and pay the balance amount, to contact the in-charge Kekhriengulie Angami in the directorate of Municipal Affairs located below AG office in AG Colony, Kohima, during office hour from June 1. Head of department, Dr. Toshimanen Ozukum further stated that other beneficiaries selected for Meriema and Ruziezou locations would informed through media in due course of time.
NSCN (IM) mourns demise of official
NSCN (IM) has mourned the demise of Hulang Pame, member of steering committee, who passed away on May 3 at his residence in Samziuram village after a prolong illness. Hulang Pame, son of Dineikam Pame from Zeme tribe, joined the Naga national service (NNC) in 1956. Subsequently, he was appointed as the political organiser of NSCN (IM) in January 1992 and elevated to steering committee member in 2016. NSCN (IM) through its MIP lamented that his demise has brought irreparable loss to the nation. The organisation has further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
NHM to hold hearts screening prog.
In the interest of the public, National Health Mission (NHM), in collaboration with Shija Hospitals Imphal, has announced to organise a free heart screening at IMDH (District Hospital), Mokokchung, on June 9. NHM would also conduct a free heart screening at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) on June 12 in collaboration with SKY Hospital and Research Centre, Imphal. In this regard, the mission director has requested all concerned citizens to avail the opportunity. It informed that children within the age group of 0-18 years of age detected with heart diseases would be provided free treatment at Shija Hospitals and Research Institute, Imphal, and SKY Hospital and Research Centre, Imphal.
