Dimapur’s CMO notifies public
Having learned on the breakout of measles in Dimapur district, the chief medical officer (CMO), Dimapur, has directed all the local authorities/ GB/ council chairmen to inform the district health authority in the event of such incidences. CMO, Dr. K Vikato Kinimi has directed the concerned persons to bring into its notice without delay in the event of any person suffering from high fever accompanied by rashes.
ANCSU lauds Nagaland University
All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has congratulated the controller of Nagaland University for successfully conducting the undergraduate examinations and timely declaring of the results. Postal employees to continue with strike
Along with the rest of the country, All India Postal Employee’s Union GDS, Nagaland division, has launched a nation-wide agitation since May 22 in support of implementation of Kamalesh Chandra Committee Report on GDS 7th Pay Commission. A press release issued by Jatin Kalita, divisional secretary, has stated that all the GDS employees of Nagaland division would continue the ceased work until further direction from union headquarter, New Delhi.

KSSATA convenes meeting
Kohima Unit of NSSATA has convened a general meeting on June 2 at 10 am at Rüpfhüno Building, D’ Block, Kohima. KSSATA vice president, Thejasetuo Kaco has requested all the bonafide members of 2010 & 2013 batch to attend the meeting positively. It further cautioned that absentees would be penalised as per its constitution.
DDADU inaugurates branch office
Dimapur, May 30 (EMN): The Dimapur District Autorickshaw Drivers’ Union (DDADU) has inaugurated its branch office on May 26 at Purana Bazaar. A union press release that its president, I Vitoshe Sema, attended the occasion as the chief guest. The branch office would be headed by Hokivi Aye as vice president and Kuhoyi Achumi as general secretary for a period of three years.
NSEE candidates informed
Project director of technical education has informed all the candidates, who have appeared the Nagaland State Entrance Examination (NSEE) 2018 and have not submitted their HSSLC mark sheets, indigenous, scheduled tribe and backward tribe certificate, to submit the same to the directorate of technical education on or before June 5.
