NDPP central team to visit Dimapur
Members of the central Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) will be visiting Dimapur on May 9. A note from the party informed all the region’s office bearers—presidents, general secretaries, and secretaries of women, youth and minority units along with assembly unit presidents and general secretaries of all five constituencies—to attend the meeting. Central office bearers representing Dimapur region in regard women, and youth units besides other frontals and current NDPP legislators and former candidates, are invited to the event too and to ‘share their opinions.’ The venue and time for the meeting has been scheduled for at 6 pm at Hotel Saramati in the city.
UBCANEI to hold prayer chain
Executive secretary of the United Baptist Churches Association North East India (UBCANEI) has informed all the churches under UBCANEI that 60 hours chain of prayer programme will commence from May 10 at 12 noon to May 12, 12 noon. All are requested to participate and to pray with the prayer points according to the schedule given. Also UBCANEI executive members of all department and church leaders have been requested to attend the 11th foundation day programme which has been scheduled on May 12 at 10 am at UBC, Midland in Dimapur.
GPRN/NSCN convenes joint meeting
The Ministry of Kilo Affairs GPRN/NSCN has convened a joint coordination meeting with regional administrative officers and secretaries on May 9 at 10 am at the council headquarter, Kehoi camp. A press release from MIP has requested all the members in concern have been requested to attend positively.
Adhoc-teachers 2015 batch of Mokokchung to meet
The All Nagaland Adhoc-Teacher Group 2015 batch of Mokokchung unit has called a general meeting on May 12 at 10 am at Penh Community Hall in Mokokchung. All the members who have appeared for suitability test on May 20, 2017 are asked to attend the meeting.
Subordinate Legislation convenes 1st meeting
The Subordinate Legislation has convened its first meeting on May 14 at 11 am at the committee room of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat in Kohima. The Subordinate Legislation Chairman, Toshi Wungtung has informed all its members to attend the meeting.
DWU to conduct annual meeting
The Duncan Women Union will be conducting its annual general meeting on May 12 at the Duncan Council Hall in Dimapur at 10 am. All the women residents of Duncan Basti have been requested to attend the meeting.
TNAI of Dimapur to observe International Nurses Day
The Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI) of Dimapur unit will be observing an International Nurses Day with the theme “A voice to lead-health is a human right,” on May 11 at 12 noon at Medical Fellowship hall, District Hospital in Dimapur. All the retired nurses and TNAI members of Dimapur district have been invited to attend the programme.
The Eralibill Village Council (EVC) has informed all the residents of the village that the annual general meeting and audit report presentation will be held on May 12 at 8 am at village council hall premises. All are requested to attend the meeting positively.
The Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) of Dimapur district will be observing World Red Cross Day on today at 11 am at Pranabananda Women’s College, Lhomithi colony in Dimapur. The society has requested patrons, vice-patrons, managing committee members, life members, junior Red Cross members, NGOs and leaders of the society and well-wishers to attend the programme. Swamiji Chinmayananda Ji Maharaj will attend the event as the guest of honour. It also informed that free dental camp will be organised on the day at the college premises, with Dr. Dipika Jain, BDS and team along with nurses of Digambar Bhagwan Mahavir Charity Clinic.
