PAC convenes meeting with legislators
The Political Affairs Committee (PAC) has convened a meeting with all the legislators of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly on May at 11 am at the State Banquet Hall, chief minister’s residence. According to DIPR update, the meeting has been called to discuss the way-forward towards early settlement of the Naga political issue. All the ministers, advisors and MLAs have been requested to attend the meeting.
A&E informs GPF subscribes
Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E) has informed all the GPF subscribers of the state government that the online GPF confirmation system is temporarily inaccessible to maintenance work. The office has requested subscribers to bear with the inconvenience.
ANCSU to hold presidential meeting
The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) will be holding its first presidential meeting on May 19 at 11 am at the Naga Student Federation’s conference hall of Oking Naga Club Building in Kohima. All its affiliated unit presidents and general secretaries have been asked to attend. The units are also informed to submit a symbol of the union or council official letter pad and other details to the ANCSU office bearers.
SCD convenes emergency meeting
The Sumi Council of Dimapur (SCD) has convened an emergency meeting on May 5 at 5 pm at its office premises, Supply colony in Dimapur. Office bearers are requested to attend positively.
Longleng DPDB meeting on May 7
The Longleng District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) monthly meeting has been scheduled on May 7 at deputy commissioner’s conference hall at 11 am. All the board members have been requested to attend the meeting.

In view of the bye-election to the lone Lok Sabha seat in Nagaland state, the monthly meeting of Mokokchung DPDB scheduled to be held on May 7 stands deferred.
