Dimapur District Legal Services Authority informs
The Dimapur District Legal Services Authority (DDLSA) informed on Tuesday that it will be organising ‘National Lok Adalat’ on April 14 at 10 am at district court building in Dimapur. The programme will deal in matters related to bank, MACT, BSNL, criminal compoundable cases etc. All the citizens are encouraged to avail these services. For further details, all concerned are asked to inquire from the front office of DDLSA at district court building.
NSCN (IM) informs about recovered vehicles
NSCN (IM) through its MIP informed on Tuesday that the Union Territory-I (UT-I) has recovered two two-wheelers namely Hero Honda bike- black in colour, bearing chassis number MBLJA06ANGGD09812, and engine number JA06EJGGTI6263; and another Hero Maestro Edge- black strip in colour bearing engine number JF33ABHGHO5386. The rightful owners are requested to come and claim the recovered bikes by producing proper documents at the UT-I office during the office hour within one week from the date of publication of the news. Pension for World War II veterans
The directorate of Sainik Welfare of Kohima informed on Tuesday that pension for World War II veterans of Dimapur, Mon, and Peren districts will be paid on April 17 at 10 am at Zila Sainik Welfare office, near Circuit House in Dimapur. Book, funeral, medical, and daughter’s marriage grants will also be paid on the same day. All the veterans are requested to come along with pension book and identity card.
Chen Union to meet
The Chen Union Dimapur has convened its 22nd general session on April 21 at 10 am at Union Mission, opposite to BSF Camp, at Half Nagarjan in Dimapur. It also informed that the new household registration with the union will be charged INR 500 and renewal of membership will be INR 20 on the particular day. All the members and representatives from Chen community in Dimapur are requested to attend the session.
Jakhama Baptist Church
The Jakhama Baptist Church has announced to conduct a two-day spiritual awakening services on the theme “Awakened & renewed my spiritual life,” on April 14 and 15. Speakers for the programme are Rev. Dr. Mechiehol Savi, Pastor Bise Sophie, Deacon Dito Savi, Deacon Ketholeho Kulnu, and Deacon Neizel Zhotso.
Pughoboto SDPDB meeting held
The Sub Division Planning Development Board, Pughoboto conducted its meeting on April 9 at the ADC office at Pughoboto in Zunheboto. Member of Legislative Assembly of 13 A/C Pughoboto, Y Vikheho Swu said that, a few were programme under LADP. He assured to continue to carry out the developmental activities to uplift Pughoboto. The house deliberated on prohibition of boulders lifting from the Doyang River. It also approved to hold a seminar on ‘biodiversity conservation’ on June 5 coinciding with the World Environment Day. The house decided to hold its next meeting on May 7.
The Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan, informed all the concerned departments and members about the district Disaster Management Authority quarterly meeting that will be held on April 16. The meeting will be conducted after the DPDB meeting at DC’s conference hall in Kohima.
The monthly meeting of Peren District Planning and Development Board was held at the Deputy Commisoner conference hall on April 10. The board recommended for setting up of gravity goods ropeway in Punglwa in Peren under the North East Rural Livelihood Project.
The Government Polytechnic Kohima has informed its students that the semester examination will be conducted in May 2018. The time period for filling up and submission of examination forms have been fixed as- odd semester compartmental examination starts from April 11 to 17th, and the even semester regular examination starts from April 19 to 21st. Students were informed to produce a photocopy of last examination mark sheet while filling up examination form. No extension of date for submission of form will be given.
