Postal services inform public
Office of the Director of Postal Services has informed general public that Aadhaar enrollment and update facility has begin at Kohima head office, Mon, Tuensang, and Zunheboto Post offices. Enrollment will be carried out through documents based verification for indigenous inhabitants of the state only, with exemptions to government employees. For verification required documents are permanent residential certificate / scheduled tribe certificate (to be supported by documentary evidence) or Indigenous Certificate.
WSBAK pastors training
As part of enhancing the pastoral ministry, the Western Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Küqhakulu (WSBAK) is organizing three-day training for its pastors from March 19-21 at WSBAK Centre, Aküvüto Thahekhü village. Pastors and associate pastors (general) are invited to be a part of the training. Executive Secretary Rev. Dr. Hevukhu Achumi has informed that registration fee of INR 1500 will be collected per participants. Those who are not able to attend due to unavoidable circumstances are asked to seek prior approval.
Phek’s DEO informs arms license holders
The district election officer of Phek Shanava C has informed person in concern to collect arms licence were produced for verification and kept under the custody of police stations in view of the 13th Nagaland State Legislative Assembly election to collect the same at the earliest from the police stations where license were kept for verification.
Free library for aspirants at Mon’s DC office
Deputy Commissioner, Mon, K Thavaseelan has informed UPSC / NPSC and other competitive exam aspirants of Mon district that a free library has been opened in the DC office to aid them in their preparation. Aspirants are asked to make a use of the library during office hours on all working days.
