itel Mobile launches ‘Wish A21’ at Rs 5,390
New Delhi, April 21 (IANS): itel Mobile, part of Chinese mobile manufacturer Transsion Holdings, on Friday launched a new smartphone “Wish A21” at Rs 5,390. “The device offers specifications and capabilities superior to basic entry-level 4G smartphones within similar price points,” said Sudhir Kumar, itel Mobile India CEO, in a statement. The 4G/VoLTE and ViLTE-enabled (Video over LTE-enabled) smartphone operates on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and offers 1GB RAM and 1.3 GHz quad core processor along with 8GB storage space which is expandable up to 32GB. “We are certain that ‘Wish A21’ will redefine established standards set by its predecessors in the ‘Wish’ series,” added Kumar.
One charge can keep this feature phone running for 50 days
New Delhi, April 21 (IANS): Jivi Mobiles on Friday launched a new feature phone “Sumo T3000” with a powerful 3600 mAh battery that claims to keep the phone charged up to 50 days. “The device ‘Sumo T3000’ has a potent battery which will help the people keep them going when they work tirelessly with all their might,” said Pankaj Anand, CEO, Jivi Mobiles, in a statement. Priced at Rs 1,490, the device comes with 2.8-inch screen size. It also features camera with flash, auto call record, mobile tracker, torch light, GPRS and many more. “We are extremely happy to introduce our new device to match the needs of people who are constantly supporting us in a big way,” Anand added.
HTC’s virtual reality system Vive now in India
New Delhi, April 21 (IANS): Taiwanese consumer electronics company HTC on Friday launched virtual reality (VR) system HTC Vive for the Indian consumers that includes wireless VR controllers, room-scale movement and head-mounted display with a built-in camera. Priced at Rs 92,990, Vive will be available exclusively on Amazon.in via pre-order, starting from April 22. “Vive has totally transformed the way we interact with the world, bringing mainstream experience to the consumer. Now consumers and developers can experience immersive virtual reality in a way that reshapes human imagination beyond boundaries,” said Faisal Siddiqui, President,South Asia, HTC. Vive will soon be available for an in-store experience across select locations across the country. These select locations will be equipped with an interactive Vive demonstration station, fully open to the public for individual sessions to experience a variety of virtual reality content supported by the platform, the company said. In collaboration with the strategic partner Valve, HTC has delivered the most complete, most immersive virtual reality system in Vive.
