EVMs to go to the lot in Pughoboto
The district election officer (DEO) of Pughoboto Avelu Ruho has informed all recognised political parties in Pughoboto assembly constituency that the first ‘randomization’ of electronic voting machines and VVPATs for the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly elections would be done on Feb. 2 at 11 a.m. in the additional deputy commissioner’s office. All recognised political parties have been directed to send representative for the event.
Pughoboto: Owners of poll vehicles asked to report
The returning officer of Pughoboto Tiayanger Jamir has directed all the individuals from whom vehicles have been requisitioned for election duty, to submit their vehicle’s documents (in the original) to the office of the additional deputy commissioner and the DEO of Pughoboto on or before Feb. 5 during office hours. All the vehicle owners are directed to comply with the order. Failure to comply with the order will invite action according to sec-167 of the Representation of People Act 1951, it was informed.
Zunheboto’s DEO informs field investigators
District Education Officer (DEO), Zunheboto H Nitoli Khulu has infromed all field investigators appointed for national achievement survey for class X cycle-II under Zunheboto district to attend the training on Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. at the DEO office chamber. Sample schools under Zunheboto district are also informed to collect materials on the same day from the DEO office at RMSA section.
Peren’s CMO ask duty exemption applicants to report
The Chief Medical Officer and chairman medical board, Peren Dr. Denis Hangsing has directed all government employees who have applied for exemption from polling duty to the 13th Legislative Assembly on medical ground to report at Community Health Centre, Jalukie at 10 a.m. on Feb. 5 for medical board. Applicants are asked to produce medical investigation report to the board. Those applicants who do not have the report will be further investigated, it informed.
Training for polling personnel conducted in Peren
The 1st phase training for polling personnel nder 7th Peren assembly constituency was conducted on Jan. 29 and the 30th at the Govt. Higher Secondary School, Jalukie town. Altogether 405 polling personnel participated in the training. EVMs demonstration and hands on training was also given by the master trainer.
