NPF convenes emergency meeting
The Naga People’s Front (NPF) has convened an emergency meeting of the party’s central executive council to be conducted on Jan. 23 at 11 a.m. at their central office in Kohima. The meeting is to review their preparedness for the elections and also ‘to discuss urgent matters,’ it was informed.
DAKK to conduct general meeting
The Diphupar Area Kewhimia Krotho (DAKK) has convened a general meeting to be conducted on Jan. 20 at 11 a.m. at the Diphupar local ground. Legislator Khriehu Liezietsu is stated to be the chief guest for the event. All the members are requested to attend the meeting.
Regular teachers of SDEO Mokokchung asked to report
The senior sub-division education officer (SDEO) of Mokokchung Imti Tzudir has informed regular employees (except SSA teachers) attached with the establishment of the SDEO of the district to report to the office on Jan. 22 and the 23rd during office hours. This is to undertake fixation of pay under the Nagaland Services (Revision of Pay) Rules of 2017, it was informed.
DSE: Primary teachers told to submit docs
The directorate of School Education has informed regular primary teachers serving with the department of School Education to submit their educational documents. They are to submit stated matter along with their original appointment and regularization orders; details of their current place of posting. They are to submit stated matter to the department on or before Jan. 25 addressed to the elementary section (room-44), for preparation of a seniority list. This was notified by director of the department Wonthungo Tsopoe.
Pughoboto’s poll chief convenes meeting with political parties
The district election officer (DEO) of Pughoboto Avelu Ruho has convened a meeting with all political parties to be conducted on Jan. 20 at 11 a.m. in the DEO’s office chamber. The meeting has been convened to fix the rate of ‘different items’ (not specified) and to give a briefing about the Model Code of Conduct for the elections. All the political parties have been asked to attend the meeting.
Dmr. DEO convenes meeting with the media
The district election officer of Dimapur Sushil Kumar Patel has convened a meeting of all the editors of the print media, proprietors of cable TV and proprietors of printing presses on Jan. 20 at 1 p.m. in the DC’s conference’s hall. The meeting has been convened in connection with the conduct of elections to the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly. All the stated persons have been requested to attend the meeting.
ANPSTA convenes emergency meeting
The All Nagaland Pre Service Teachers’ Association (ANPSTA) has convened an ‘emergency general meeting’ to be conducted on Jan. 23, 11 a.m., in the Chakhroma Public Organisation Hall in Chumoukedima town, near the Chumoukedima local ground. All the members are requested to attend the meeting.
