New traffic regulations on NH 29

Dimapur, Nov. 11 (EMN): Dimapur police on Monday announced a set of temporary traffic regulations to be implemented on National Highway 29. Only six-wheeler trucks carrying goods, bound for Kohima and elsewhere, will be allowed to proceed from Chumoukedima Check gate till such time repair works on certain crucial stretches on NH 29 is completed, it informed. However, it added, 10-wheeler trucks bound for Kohima on emergency government duty will be permitted to proceed subject to prior permission from the office of the commissioner of police office or the deputy commissioner of police (Traffic).
