New traffic measures for travellers between Dimapur-Kohima

Dimapur, May 17 (EMN): Following heavy landslide along the Dimapur-Kohima National Highway, police authorities have introduced new traffic regulations as contingency measures. A press release from the senior superintendent of police SP Kohima on Wednesday informed that all vehicles travelling from Dimapur to Kohima should be “diverted from Peducha towards 10 mile, Tsiesema”. Similarly, it has also instructed that all vehicles travelling from Kohima to Dimapur should “be diverted from Zubza CRPF camp above Shalom Bible Seminary to Kiruphema, than (sic) Peducha”.For vehicles travelling from Kohima he also offered the alternative route through “Kohima Science College, Jotsoma to Khonoma, Mezoma, Sechiima than (sic) Kiruphema”. The SP Kohima has appealed all commuters between Kohima and Dimapur to bear with the inconveniences “till the repairing of the Highway is completed”.
