Dimapur, May 30
Livingstone Foundation Higher Secondary School in Dimapur has introduced a learning platform called ‘Vertical Progression Program’ to help students learn learning physics and mathematics. Students of the 6th to 9th standards can use the facility.A program was conducted during May 27-30 conducted by Akshay Agarwal, of Accenture. The program was intended to incorporate a higher learning approach by way of using example and practical methods of teaching.
In an attempt to connect the learning methodology of the Indian education system with respect to a student’s learning approach, the 3-day program clubbed the learning levels as one while helping the students to recap and align on all that they have learnt thereby helping the students to be precise and conceptualize on the topics present in their level.
“Students who participated in the program said the program would help students to understand the subject more conceptually and link to the upcoming levels over the course of their education,” the organizers informed in a note issued to the media on Saturday.
“The teachers who attended the program was of the view that it would help the students understand the art of learning and understanding at a whole new level so that they can connect with the syllabus that lies ahead of them and would provide a command on the lessons taught as they would come to understand the ins and outs of the complete ladder of the chapters presented”.
