Midland Council in Kohima installs new team for the tenure 2026-2031

DIMAPUR — The Midland Council under Ward-9 in Kohima has announced a new team for the tenure 2026-2031. The handing and taking over programme of the new and outgoing office bearers was held on May 13 at Midland community building.
According to the council, the new team would be led by Menuokholie Kire as chairman, Khrielezo Vitsu and Neilese Peki as vice chairmen, Thejazelie Tase as general secretary, Keviletuo Ngukha and Saliezotuo Meru as joint secretaries, Kekhrieo Solo as treasurer, Khoto Ngukha as property secretary, Vihu Meyase as finance secretary, Kethokhrieto Vimera as information and publicity secretary with Kopelo Krome, Medovilhou Kire and Tsao Paphino as advisors.
It has also named Neikhonyii Sote, Kekhrietuo Ngukha and Obed Kent as Gao Bura (GB), while the judiciary board members are Veswupoi Theyo, Thejasievi Kerhuo, Zhavotso Ltu and all GB.

Sani Metha would be convenor of the sanitation committee. He will be assisted by Victor Rutsa and Dziesetuolie Mezhier from upper sector, Asongba Peter and Kezhanguto Ngukha from middle sector, Neichiituolie Sophie, Madi Koso and Arietuo Kesiezie from lower sector.
The audit committee members are Vikepelhou Rutsa, Victor Sogotsu and Kikovizo Tase, while the development board members are Atou Liezietsu, Zhasar Nihu, Medotso Tase, Viboto Tase and Viphrezo Zao.
The programme was chaired by outgoing chairman, Kopelo Krome, and Toso Thaprii presented the secretary report.
