New SUV Grand Vitara launched in Dimapur

Dimapur, Oct. 12 (EMN): The Grand Vitara, a new breed of SUV, was unveiled on Wednesday at Nexa (Progressive Motors), Dimapur, on Wednesday.

The new car comes with a host of tech features such as head up display, 360 view camera, wireless charger and new smartplay pro+ infotainment system, digital multi information system.

The Grand Vitara also comes with features like panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, auto AC, paddle shifters, cruise control and a full digital instrumental cluster with 17.78 cm.

As per Maruti Suzuki India Limited internal testing standards and conditions, the Grand Vitara has a range of 1200 km on a single tank of fuel, and it is claimed as India’s most fuel efficient SUV. The car also has EV mode which uses only the electric motor to propel the car with zero emissions.

Standard safety features of the car include Suzuki TECT platform, six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, hill descent control and hill hotel assist.

Chairman of Nexa Progressive Motors, TK Angmai, delivered a short speech during the unveiling programme.
