Dimapur, Aug 22 (EMN): The New Reserve Youth Organization (NRYO), Kohima organised literary day at New Reserve Police Drill Shed on Aug. 22 with the Sr. SP of Kohima, Vekhosa Chakhesang as a special guest.
An update received the origination informed that the literary day was held on the theme ‘For a better tomorrow’.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vekhosa Chakhesang exhorted the youths to lead an exemplary and dignified life. He further encouraged the youths to approach the elders for advices and grab the opportunity at their disposal and seek their wise counsel.
Essay writing, debate, spell bee, extempore, mascot making, story-telling, quiz and painting competition for different categories were conducted.
