- DIMAPUR — The
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mokokchung district on Friday successfully
conducted the handing-over charge of its new president at the party’s office in
Mokokchung town.
- Speaking at the function, the outgoing president, S Bendang
Aier, urged the members to remain steadfast and dedicated to the party's cause.
He emphasised the importance of collective commitment in furthering the vision
of the BJP, an update from the party stated.
- The newly elected president, O Tinu Longkumer, expressed
gratitude for the trust placed on him and called upon all Karyakartas (party
workers) to extend their unwavering support, while he also promised to work
tirelessly for the growth of the party and to better serve the people.
- I Lanutoshi Longkumer, district vice president, has
acknowledged the outgoing president under whose leadership the party was
strengthened in the district through his dedication and visionary approach. He
also welcomed the new president and described him as a spirited leader who is
capable of taking the party to greater heights.
- Meyisupong, another district vice president, expressed
gratitude to the outgoing president and sought his continued guidance and
support regardless of the position he hold in the future. He also assured the
newly elected president of his full support and encouragement, reinforcing the
spirit of teamwork and cooperation within the district.

strengthen the party and serve the people with greater vigour.
