Dimapur, Sep. 15 (EMN): The Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NStCB) Chumukedima branch new complex and installation of 12th ATM for its banking operation was inaugurated on Friday, Sep. 15, by Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Wepe Ritse as chief guest.
Ritse in his speech narrated the historical gist of the bank, its establishment and services to the people for the last 50 years culminating into the celebration of golden jubilee. He said the NStCB is a state owned bank and belongs to the people of the state; therefore, he said the development of the bank is the collective responsibilities of all. He also mentioned that the bank is technologically equipped with numerous deposit and loan schemes to serve the people of the state and urge upon them to avail the same.
EAC, Chumukedima, Thejavizo Nakhro,who graced the inaugural programme as guest of honour, thanked the bank for extending the financial service to the people of the area with the state of technology and term the bank as peoples own bank. He exhorted the public to avail the banking service from NStCB as the bank is well equipped to serve the people. Imtilemba Longkumer, in his welcome speech informed of the services being rendered by the bank for the last 50 years and the schemes under the calendar of events culminating in to the celebration of golden jubilee on Nov. 10, and invited the audience to join the celebration.
Earlier, the dedicatory prayer was offered by Pastor of Chumukedima Ao Baptist Church, the Rev. I Zulu. Colony chairmen, DBs and GBs of Chumukedima area also graced the programme.
