Dimapur, May 8 (EMN): A new music institute named ‘Clefnote Music Academy’ was inaugurated at Diphupar ‘B,’ on May 7 at the Sangtam Baptist Fellowship. The proprietor of the academy, Albert Sangtam, is a 21 year old 4th semester B. Com student at Tetso College, Dimapur.
The Clefnote Music Academy aims to provide lessons on vocal and musical instruments such as guitar and keyboard.Dr. Salikyu Sangtam, who inaugurated the institute, conveyed the importance of music in church and religion. He emphasised on the significance of music in uniting the community and nurturing the common bond of brotherhood and fellowship.
Rajesh K Tanti, Managing Director of Shunya HR & Skills Development Foundations, also attended the programme and talked about the importance of recognising and pursuing one’s personal talents and skills.
Other highlights of the inaugural programme included performances by various artistes namely Buhiu B Lam, finalist of Voice of Nagaland; Vinika Yepthomi, winner of Voice of Nagaland; and Ilike V Zhimomi, Miss Freshers’ from C-Edge College, Dimapur.
Chaplain of Tetso College, Hermish Fisherman, pronounced blessings for the newly inaugurated Clefnote Music Academy and the proprietor. The programme was chaired by Ilike Zhimoni and Yangthsaba T Sangtam.
Mreanwhile, Albert, the institute proprietor, expressed gratitude to all the guests and special invitees for their presence.
