DIMAPUR — Under the Nagaland Baptist Church Council Youth Department’s (NBCCYD) ‘Share your needs, share your gifts’ ministry, a new mission centre staff building that was funded and constructed by the Department of Youth Ministry (DoYM), Western Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Küqhakulu (WSBAK), was dedicated on Saturday.
The building, at the mission centre of the Association of Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland (AGBCN) in Singrijan village, Chümoukedima, was dedicated by K Nifato Chishi, secretary of DoYM, WSBAK, according to a press release. The programme was chaired by Shishir Lama, youth secretary of AGBCN.
Rev. Dr. K Santabir Rai, executive secretary of AGBCN, in his speech, lauded the DoYM and WSBAK for their significant contributions and efforts in constructing the building.
Kavito Zhimomi, chairperson of the Youth Executive Committee Members (YECM) of WSBAK, thanked all the members who generously contributed to the completion of the building. He also acknowledged those who went the extra mile to ensure its completion.
A song was presented on the occasion by the Youth Ministry of Gorkha Baptist Church, Diphupar. The programme concluded with a blessing prayer by Rev. Dr. Phughoto Sema, executive secretary of WSBAK.
