DIMAPUR — The New Millennium Youngster Club, Wangshu village, is organising the Christmas Trophy 2025.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by S Bechung, head GB of Wangshu village, according to an update.
Addressing the gathering, Khole encouraged the players to view the tournament as a stepping stone toward greater achievements. He stated that sports is an emerging industry with vast potential to create meaningful career opportunities and help reduce unemployment in the state.

Expressing concern over the declining sports culture in the area due to substance abuse, he urged the youth to stay focused and disciplined.
Referring to his arrival on foot, the special guest highlighted the hardships faced in the Tobu area and called upon the younger generation to take responsibility for uplifting the social, economic, and political development of society.
Altogether, 12 teams are participating in the weeklong tournament.
