Mokokchung, Nov. 7 (EMN): A new hotel called Hotel Town Centre was inaugurated in Mokokchung town on Wednesday evening by the MTBA counsellor (AA), Moatoshi.
The hotel is located just behind the Mokokchung town Baptist church (MTBA), Thana road at Sangtemla ward.
The proprietor of the hotel, Sakulemla, while sharing on his idea behind the venture, said that Mokokchung has been experiencing a tremendous growth in terms of tourist visits who come either on vacation, educational tour or for business. She lamented that many of the travellers -- tourists and businessmen -- face lots of hardship in finding accommodations especially to hold up for a night because of the lack of hotels in the town.
She said that the new hotel was opened to fill in the need for the business and holiday travellers so that proper accommodation facility that is easy to reach, comfortable, homely and reasonably priced is available to the visitors to the town.
She assured that the hotel is a ‘budget hotel’ with uncompromising good quality hotel services.
The proprietor also expressed that her venture, though in a small way, will contribute towards the Mokokchung economy by boosting the tourism industry and business travel and thereby become yet another place of pride for Mokokchung town.
