DIMAPUR — The new building of the Longtsung Health and Wellness Centre (HWC) under the Sanis block in the Wokha district was inaugurated by Advisor for Agriculture Mhathung Yanthan on Thursday.
The dedication prayer for the new facility was pronounced by Longshi Mozhui, Pastor of Longtsung Baptist Church, according to an update.
Speaking at the inauguration of the new building, Yanthan hoped that the facility, constructed by him under the Local Area Development Programme, will deliver the much-desired healthcare services to the people in need at Longtsung.
He informed that upon seeing the poor condition of the health centre building and the dedication of the community health officer, he decided to construct a new building.
The advisor appealed to the community to take proper care of the health facility and contribute to its development. He further requested that the medical department provide proper medical equipment for the smooth functioning of the health facility.
