DIMAPUR — The Nepali Baptist Church Kohima (NBCK) will host the Gold Cup 50-Ball Cricket Tournament from January 22 to the 24th at the Rüzhükhrie Government Higher Secondary School ground, Kohima.
The event is organised by the Golden Jubilee Sports Committee as part of the year-long golden jubilee celebrations marking 50 years of the church. Established in 1976, NBCK is the first Nepali church in Nagaland, stated an update.
The competition is a six-a-side men’s tennis-ball cricket tournament. The winning team will receive a cash prize of INR 25,000 along with a trophy, while the runners-up will be awarded INR 15,000 and a trophy.

Individual awards include Player of the Tournament (INR 5,000), Best Batsman (INR 2,000), and Best Bowler (INR 2,000), each accompanied by a trophy.
The tournament is open to all, with a registration fee of INR 1,500 per team. Interested churches, clubs, teams, and associations can obtain and submit registration forms from January 10.
