NEISSR conducts orientation for faculty

Dimapur, Jan. 23 (EMN): North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR) conducted a one-day orientation for its faculty and the management on January 19 in its premises. Dr. RK Behera, dean of social sciences, Patkai Christian College, has facilitated the orientation on the relevance and requirement of higher education. He highlighted the various knowledge resources that could be availed and utilised by students and faculty in enhancing academic performance. Besides, he has also highlighted on the minimum requirements expected of any forward looking academic institutions such as job placement cell, alumni association, adopting of villages by the institute, inclusive admission policy, organising seminars and programmes.
