Dimapur, September 28: Neichute Doulo of Entrepreneurs Associate, Kohima has been shortlisted as one of the five finalists for the ‘Social Entrepreneur of the Year (SEOY)-India 2016 Award.’
The other finalists include Shanti Raghavan and Dipesh Sutariya of EnAble India, Bengaluru, Vikas Shah of Water Health India Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad, Mrinalini Kher of Yuva Parivartan/Kherwadi Social Welfare Association (KSWA), Mumbai and Hilmi Quraishi and Subhi Quraishi of ZMQ, New Delhi respectively.
The winner will be chosen by a distinguished jury and will be presented by Union Minister of Road, Transport, Highways and Shipping Nitin Gadkari at a high profile event in New Delhi on October 6. The finalists were evaluated on key parameters of innovation, sustainability, scalability, reach and social impact.
According to the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation website, the winner will be included in the Schwab Foundation network and benefits include access to a peer community of social entrepreneurs, services such as pro-bono consulting and legal advice, as well as scholarships to executive education courses at world-class institutions.
