Dimapur, Oct. 30 (EMN): The Vigilance Awareness Week on the theme ‘Integrity - A way of life’ got underway with a pledge-taking ceremony in the OPD foyer of NEIGRIHMS on October 28.
A poster competition was also conducted during which staff and students expressed their thoughts about the theme through their posters. On October 29, a skit competition also on the theme ‘Integrity - A way of life’ was organised in which three teams of NEIGRIHMS Nursing College participated. Officials of the NEIGRIHMS urged the employees and students of the institute to start an integrity culture in NEIGRIHMS, where everybody is conscious about the integrity of self and others. They said the integrity of a person is when their soul is pure to the extent that nobody has any doubt about their honesty and intentions.
Vigilance officer at NEIGRIHMS Prof. P Bhattacharya spoke at the occasion. He informed the gathering regarding the structure of the vigilance cell in the institute and announced that any act of corruption can be brought in his notice in a confidential note in vigilance office, or the director’s office, or medical superintendent’s office.
The Vigilance Awareness Week will continue till November 2.
