Outgoing and new office bearers of NEA during the taking-over of charge programme in Kohima on Saturday.

KOHIMA — Nagaland Education Association (NEA) on Saturday organised a programme for handing and taking-over charge of its new office bearers at Directorate of School Education in Kohima.

During the programme, the outgoing president, Dr. Zavise Rume, delivered a short speech and thanked all members and officials of Education department of the state for their cooperation, stated an update from the association.

Meanwhile, the newly elected president, Dr. Bweyhunle Khing, who is also the principal of Government College, Wokha, sought cooperation and active participation from all the members.

Report also stated that the principal of Unity College of Teacher Education, Dimapur, Dr. Akala, in her short speech, invited members to make the association proactive in promoting quality education in Nagaland.
