DIMAPUR — Myna group bikers, which constituted part of North East on Wheels Season 2, called on Nagaland Governor La. Ganesan at Raj Bhavan in Kohima on Wednesday and shared their experiences of travelling in the region.

An update from Raj Bhavan stated that the governor has expressed his happiness and appreciation to the bikers for sharing their experiences and ideas. He urged the participants to act as guardians for their Naga brothers and sisters staying outside the state.

The chairman of Amazing Namaste Foundation (ANF), Atul Kulkarni, said that their journey is for 10 days by travelling through all the major cities and towns, including four states of the Northeast, namely Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, and Nagaland.

It informed that 45 participants from different parts of the country are divided into three groups named after the birds and animals found in the Northeast region, such as rhino, falcon and Myna.

The idea was to showcase the natural beauty, rich cultural traditions, and hospitality of the people of the region. The bikers, during their journey, interacted with young entrepreneurs, tribal leaders, and different groups of people for better understanding of the ecosystem.

During the journey, the riders paid tribute to national heroes and interacted with local communities to promote the rich flora and fauna by supporting the cause of “Ek Bharat Shreshtra Bharat” in true spirit.

The Myna group is led by Mrityunjay Tripathi. Season 2 was flagged off on November 17.
