NDRF conducts mock drill to create awareness

Dimapur, April 27 (EMN): The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) on April 27 conducted mock drill at NF Railway HQ in Maligaon as part of the community awareness programme. A press release from the NFR Maligaon issued on April 27 stated that during any kind of disaster, it is the person available nearby who are the fast respondents. So, awareness of the community about relief and rescue measures are of prime importance to save precious lives. During the drill, various aspects about relief and rescue measures is said to have been demonstrated in the presence of officers and staff from NFR to garner valuable experience. It is said to be expected that such drill would be very much beneficial for the society as those who viewed the drill would be able to share their experience in various segments of the society. The drill was said to have been conducted by the 1st Battalion of NDRF.
