Dimapur, May 3 (EMN): Group “C” of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) central executive board has welcomed the merger of H Zungkum Chang, NCP candidate from 54 Tuesang Sadar-II. The brief merger declaration programme was held on May 3 at youth hall, Chongpho khel, Tuensang village, organised by NDPP Tuensang region.
The programme coincided with the NDPP region tour and was attended by all area office bearers and village unit party functionaries.
Region tour group leader, former MLA and NDPP vice president, Kakheho Sukhalu delivered a brief congratulatory speech at the merger function. Sukhalu, speaking on behalf of the NDPP leadership, congratulated H Zungkum Chang and all former leaders of the NCP from 54 Tuensang – ll AC. He said NDPP is strictly a cadre based political party and encouraged them to get themselves enrolled at the earliest possible time. He has further assure all possible help based on justice and transparency.
