Dimapur, June 30 (EMN): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) of 8 - Western Angami assembly constituency has condemned the alleged impersonation of Minister for Horticulture and Women Resource Development, Salhoutuonuo Kruse, onvarious social media platforms.
The NDPP unit in a condemnation note stated that such a “malicious act” is nothing short of character assassination and defamation, creating communal hatred and enmity.
The party unit attested that Kruse is the elected representative of 8th Western Angami A/C in the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly and holds an upright moral and social standing in the society without an iota of doubt.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]She is also a bonafide daughter of Kiruphema village married to late Kevisekho Kruse from Khonoma village, both from Angami tribe under Kohima district, the NDPP unit said and added that Kruse has “no relation with Meiteis or Mizos under any circumstances whatsoever.”
Asserting that the minister does not have any issues or said anything on matters relating to the ongoing Manipur crisis, the party stated that, on the other hand, she has been praying for peaceful environment and co-existence in Manipur.
Terming the act of dragging their “responsible leader” into the Manipur crisis as inhumane and uncalled for, the NDPP unit urged the authorities concerned to investigate the matter with utmost priority and book the culprits at the earliest.
