Kohima, July 22 (EMN): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) of 15 Southern Angami-11 assembly constituency felicitated Dr. Atha Vizol for his induction into NDPP central executive board as vice president during a programme on July 22.
In a felicitation programme held here at the residence of Zale Neikha, advisor of Youth Resources and Sports, Dr. Atha, former candidate of 15 Southern Angami assembly constituency in 2008 elections, said, “We have reached the preparatory stage for 2023 elections.” He, therefore, called upon the party workers to be truthful in their approach and create a backbiting-free atmosphere within the party.
He also stressed on the need to have frequent interaction among the party leaders/ workers to build better understanding.
Dr. Atha assured that he would exercise his best ability for positive growth of the party.
In his address, Neikha reminded the party workers that a single tree cannot form a forest and called upon the people to work together for expansion of the party. Observing less presence of the party leaders from both 14 and 15 Southern Angami assembly constituencies in the NDPP central executive board, Neikha was optimistic that the induction of Dr. Atha would go a long way in strengthening the party.
