NDPP Pughoboto region holds consultative meeting

DIMAPUR — The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Pughoboto region convened a consultative meeting on April 9 at Pughoboto Town Hall in support of the People's Democratic Alliance (PDA) consensus candidate, Dr. Chumben Murry, in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.

According to a press release, KT Sukhalu, Advisor for Food and Civil Supplies and Legal Metrology and Pughoboto region in charge, attended the meeting and addressed the gathering. Former candidate Y Vikheho Swu and other NDPP officials from the central executive board also spoke on the occasion.

The meeting unanimously resolved to support the PDA consensus candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha election and also reaffirmed its support for the government under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.
