
DIMAPUR — Pughoboto region of the Nationalist Democratic Progress Party (NDPP) has unanimously resolved to remain resolute with the party and cooperate with the newly formed government to work for the over-all development of the state.
The resolution to this effect was taken during the general meeting of all the office bearers of various organisations at its regional office in Pughoboto town on May 27. The region also congratulated the pre-poll alliance of NDPP-BJP in Nagaland for returning with a thumping majority to form the government, an update from its media cell stated.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]It expressed confidence that the current dispensation would successfully tackle major issues facing the Naga society today, including the vexed Indo-Naga political issue, under the leadership of Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio.

The region also expressed gratitude to all the voters, who voted for the NDPP candidate, Y Vikheho Swu, and assure that the party would continue to work for the welfare of the region.
It further expressed confidence that, with the support of central leadership, the region would be able to overcome failures and scale new heights of success in the near future.
