DIMAPUR — The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) has congratulated Ajay Kumar Bhalla on his appointment and swearing-in as the Governor of Nagaland on Monday.

In a press release, the NDPP stated that the people of Nagaland look forward to his leadership in helping steer the state with his vast experience as a seasoned bureaucrat.

The party expressed confidence that the governor will help guide the Government of Nagaland, especially with his invaluable experience as the Union Home Secretary, a post he held for five years, making him only the second officer to do so.
