NDPP discusses issues pertaining to Nagaland at its consultative meeting

Dimapur, Aug. 28 (EMN): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) senior leaders led by President Chingwang Konyak and the party legislators discussed various issues pertaining to the state at its joint consultative meeting in the State Banquet Hall, Kohima, on Saturday.

An update from NDPP stated that Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, highlighted ideas and avenues for the growth of the party at the meeting and encouraged the party workers to strive towards achieving the commitments made in its manifesto.

He also elucidated the present political situation in the state as well as the ongoing peace talk between the Government of India and the Naga National Political Groups, it stated.

“The house reiterated its endorsement of the resolution passed on the 20th of July 2021 at Dimapur and also welcomed and supported the 13th August 2021 joint resolution of the three political parties, the NDPP, BJP and NPF,” read the communiqué.
