Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), 5 Ghaspani II on Sunday termed the allegation levied against the sitting MLA by an unidentified person on social media as “false and misleading”.
A statement from NDPP5 Ghaspani II media cell stated that an unknown person had alleged that the sitting MLA has “started to distribute money to buy votes”.
“Such false allegations were made solely to tarnish the image of the sitting MLA of Ghaspani-II and to mislead the general public. Necessary complaint has been lodged and appropriate actions will be taken by the authorities against those responsible,” read the statement.
