Dimapur, July 23 (EMN): The Nagaland Contractors' and Suppliers' Union (NCSU) has appreciated the concerns of the engineers of the North East Region towards the developmental aspects of the North East, including the state of Nagaland.

NCSU, in a press release, expressed hope that the two-day business sessions of the ongoing Indian Engineers' Federation (North East Region) mid-term-cum-annual council meeting would also deliberate on the various developmental and infrastructural drawbacks faced by the North East Region and work out mechanisms to put the NER at par with other parts of the country.

The union welcomed all the delegates to the annual council meeting held in Kohima, which was hosted by the Federation of Nagaland State Engineering Service Associations (FONSESA).

Different state level units of INDEF (NER) and also the apex body of Indian Engineers Federation (INDEF) took part in the two-day meeting, which was held on July 22 and 23.
