Dimapur, Nov. 28 (EMN): Swami Sadanand Maharaj, member of ‘National Commission for Safai Karmacharis’ (NCSK) of the ministry of Social Justice and Environment held discussions with the senior NF Railway officials at Maligaon on Tue. Nov. 27.
During the meeting various issues concerning further betterment of the service conditions of the Safai Karmacharis were discussed upon, stated an update by the chief public relations officer, in Maligaon.
It may be mentioned here that apart from railway authority that directly employ Safai Karmacharis various contractors also engage Safai Karmacharis for undertaking cleanliness work on trains and railway premises. General Manager N.F. Railway Sanjive Roy and other senior officials were present during discussion.
