A press release issued by the president of Nagaland Christian Revival Church Prison Ministry (NCRCPM) Thepfuzolie Metha informed that pastor Rheilhou Lhoungu, Chairman, Northern Angami CRC Sub-Council shared the message to the inmates at the programme. While acknowledged the good work of the ministry, the pastor said that it was a right thing to help the inmates and encouraged them “to repent from their sin and accept Jesus as their personal savour.” He told them that God would not remember the sins they have committed if they truly repent. The pastor challenged the inmates to stand up on their feet and confess their sins, to which 10 of them responded positively. He also encouraged the other inmates to repent soon and become a new person.
