DIMAPUR — Nagaland
Christian Ministries Association (NCMA) held its annual get-together on
Thursday at Dunamis Life Church, Walford, Dimapur.
In the meeting, Rev. Dr. R Meren Jamir, former executive
secretary of NBCA, and Khunitoli Moon, pastor of Withee Diaspora Mission
Church, Dimapur, spoke from the word of God, according to a press release. NCMA
president, Rev. Dr. Olem Jamir, meanwhile, highlighted the association's
achievements since its inception in 2013.
Ministry leaders discussed the prevailing situation among
the ministries and prayer centres in Nagaland, noting that some ministries are
tarnishing the image of ministries in the region.
They emphasised that those who establish ministries in
Nagaland with a genuine calling from God are called to lead and serve the
people, not to pursue personal goals.
The release noted that any unbiblical ministry operating in
Nagaland will be addressed by the association, which will voice its concerns
and stand as the voice of the Naga people.
NCMA also cautioned against individuals or groups speaking
out against Christian ministries in general, emphasising that not all
ministries are bad, and urging respect for one another.
Stating that many ministries in NCMA work with downtrodden
people, unreached groups, orphanages, medical missions, prayer centres, etc.,
to lend a helping hand spiritually and physically, leading people to God, NCMA
encouraged all ministries in Nagaland to work purposefully, with God's
direction and the right motive.
The association requested ministries and prayer centres that
are not affiliated with any church or group to kindly register with NCMA by
sending an email to nagalandchristianministries@gmail.com.
