Dimapur, June 15 (EMN): National Commission for De-notified Nomadic and Semi -Nomadic (NCDNT) led by the Chairman of the Commission, Bhiku RamjiIdate along with members of the Commission held a meeting on June 13, at Hotel Japfu, Kohima.
Representing the State Government, the meeting chaired by Secretary Home, C. Kikon was attended by officials from Home and Social Welfare Departments.
During the discussion, the commission was informed that Nagaland was predominantly a tribal state and in view of the fact the state of Nagaland cannot come under the purview of the criteria, "Nomadic or Semi Nomadic."
