Kohima, May 24 (EMN): The National Child Development Council (NCDC), a National Child Welfare Organisation based in New Delhi, introduced for the first time paperless English training (PET) and teacher training in child education online in the state.
This was announced by NCDC faculty and admission coordinator, Yaomichon Ragui in a press conference held at Crescent International Hotel in Kohima on Tuesday.
She said the paperless English training (PET) is meant for school and college students who find it difficult to speak English despite having studied English for many years. She added that the youngest learner at present is a student of Class 4 and as old as a retired person.
In addition to spoken English training, general knowledge and skill development are included in the programme, adding that daily lessons and activities will be shared directly with the learners through WhatsApp and live lessons every Sunday from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
“Its module gradually helps the students to talk in English through games and puzzles without learning grammar,” she said.
